Overview

The Oncology Sales Representative will be responsible for selling a newly approved oncology product to oncology practices in an assigned geographic territory, providing value by engaging healthcare professionals.

In Short

  • Support the launch of a targeted therapy for lung cancer.
  • Engage oncologists, nurses, and pharmacists in discussions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers.
  • Utilize a CRM system for call records and account planning.
  • Deliver high-level customer service and expertise.
  • Travel to medical offices and hospitals (80% travel required).
  • Work 40 hours per week, potentially including weekends.
  • Minimum 3 years of medical sales experience required.
  • Strong communication and adaptability to oncology advances.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and VEEVA systems preferred.

Requirements

  • BA/BS from an accredited college or university.
  • At least 3 years in pharmaceutical or medical sales.
  • 1 year of oncology experience preferred.
  • Track record of sales accomplishments.
  • Ability to work independently with good judgment.
  • Familiarity with Sales Force Automation applications.
  • Strong clinical knowledge for product selling.
  • Established relationships in the territory.
  • Ability to travel approximately 30% as needed.
  • Strong business communication skills.
