Principal DevOps Engineer | Pod Lead - Remote

Overview

EverOps is looking for a Principal Engineer who has a deep understanding of enterprise cloud infrastructure and has the ability to manage projects autonomously. You will leverage strong communication and collaboration while focusing on client satisfaction and high availability.

• Principal level DevOps Architecture experience
• Work with clients to ensure project scope and alignment
• Guide your Tech Pod both technically and career-wise
• Develop and use automation tools to manage environments
• Participate in customer and internal scrums
• Monitor environments focusing on constant improvement
• Implement new tools and technologies as requirements evolve
• Design and execute new solutions while improving existing ones
• Provide operational support and project deployments

Requirements

• 15+ years of professional experience as a DevOps, CloudOps, or Site Reliability Engineer
• Hands-on experience with Linux and programming languages like Golang, Python, Ruby, Bash, Typescript, or Rust
• Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
• Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Chef, Packer, etc.
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Github Actions, etc.
• Familiarity with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
• NoSQL experience with databases like Cassandra, MongoDB, or DynamoDB
• Relational database experience with MySQL or Postgres
