Senior DevOps Data Engineer - Remote

Overview

EverOps is looking for a Senior DevOps Data Engineer with deep expertise in data platform architecture, disaster recovery design, and infrastructure-level data operations.

In Short

• Design and implement disaster recovery architectures for various data services.
• Plan and execute database migration cutovers.
• Architect replication topologies and validate RPO/RTO targets.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code for data platform provisioning.
• Develop automation tooling for data platform operations.
• Implement observability for data infrastructure.
• Support production workload migrations.
• Document runbooks and architecture decision records.
• Participate in scrums, providing architecture guidance.
• Work remotely with a team of engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or related roles.
• Experience with disaster recovery architectures for production databases.
• Hands-on experience with AWS managed data services.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
• Strong understanding of Linux.
• Experience with programming languages for automation.
• Production experience with Amazon EKS.
• Understanding of GitOps workflows.
• Experience with CI/CD tools.
• Relational and NoSQL database experience.
