Overview

The Major Incident Manager at Everience is responsible for managing the resolution of critical incidents, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders, and minimizing the business impact of outages while continuously improving incident management processes.

In Short

  • Chair the War-room during major incidents.
  • Manage the resolution of critical incidents and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of incidents.
  • Monitor quality of business communication during incidents.
  • Ensure regular communication on both business and technical levels.
  • Work under pressure with strong leadership presence.
  • Experience in ITIL best practices and incident management.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in Dutch, French, and English is required.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT incident management.

Requirements

  • Solid technical background in IT infrastructure and applications.
  • Hands-on experience with ITIL best practices.
  • Strong understanding of Root Cause Analysis methods.
  • Proven ability to lead War Rooms under pressure.
  • Experience managing critical incidents in large-scale IT environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under stress and tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills to translate technical issues into business impact.
  • Ability to identify structural issues and define corrective actions.
  • Agile mindset and experience with ITSM processes.
