Data Reliability Engineer - Remote

Overview

Everbridge is a global leader in SaaS-based critical communications and safety solutions, helping organizations manage events that impact safety, security, and business operations. We’re seeking a Data Reliability Engineer to be based in Hungary. This is a remote home-based position that can be based anywhere in Hungary.

In Short

• Take ownership of the operational availability, security, performance, scalability, efficiency, monitoring, and overall service reliability of Everbridge's data tier.
• Collaborate with Architects, Developers, Quality Engineers, Security Specialists, and Operations Engineers in an Agile environment.
• Develop and enhance automated tooling and processes for data tier operability.
• Apply Database Reliability Engineering (DBRE) principles to improve technology and team culture.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for production escalations.
• Work hard to make a meaningful difference.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in production database reliability, database administration, site reliability engineering, DevOps, or SaaS technical operations.
• Proven hands-on expertise with Terraform, Salt, MongoDB, and CI tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
• At least 1 year of coding experience in Python, Perl, Java, or Go.
