Human Resources Generalist - Remote

Overview

The HR Generalist is accountable for all HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, and compensation issues. This role supports managers and employees at assigned programs.

In Short

• Provide broad-based HR support to managers and employees.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle process.
• Liaise with temporary personnel agencies.
• Maintain employee information in HRIS systems.
• Oversee the orientation process for new hires.
• Administer employee benefits and pensions.
• Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
• Participate in Health & Safety initiatives.
• Engage in various HR projects as required.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Human Resources or related field.
• CHRL designation or working towards it preferred.
• 2-4 years of HR Generalist experience.
• Experience in healthcare or non-profit sector is an asset.
• 3 years of direct recruitment experience.
• Broad experience in policy interpretation and conflict resolution.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with facilitation and needs analysis.
• WSIB and/or JHSC experience required.
• Advanced computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office and HRIS.
