California Family Law Paralegal - Remote

Overview

Equivity is seeking an experienced California Family Law Paralegal to support attorneys handling a wide range of matters, including divorce, paternity, child custody and support, domestic violence injunctions, and post-judgment modifications. This is a remote position requiring a minimum availability of 20 hours per week, with the flexibility to increase hours based on client needs and performance.

In Short

• Part-time position with 20 to 40 hours per week
• Pay rate of $25 to $29 per hour

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of California family law experience
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Strong understanding of California Family Law Rules of Procedure
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
• Experience with family law case management systems
• Proactive and reliable in a remote work environment
