Credentialing Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Credentialing Specialist is responsible for coordinating the licensing program for Equip clinicians, developing, implementing, and monitoring Equip’s credentialing program to ensure access to high-quality treatments for eating disorders.

In Short

• Adhere to credentialing policies and procedures.
• Ensure credentialing files meet regulatory standards.
• Update payor rosters accurately and timely.
• Partner with Credentialing Manager for surveys and audits.
• Identify process improvement opportunities.
• Assist with provider enrollment as needed.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• 1+ years of healthcare experience in credentialing or enrollment.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements for credentialing.
• Experience with CAQH ProView database.
• Ability to learn healthcare regulations quickly.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and process adherence.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work through challenges in a fast-paced environment.
