Overview

The Tax Analyst at Galway Holdings LP plays a key role in ensuring accurate and compliant tax reporting across various tax types and jurisdictions.

In Short

• Prepares or reviews tax-related documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintains tax forecasting and analytical models.
• Assists in preparation and distribution of tax forms.
• Responds to notices or audits from states.
• Researches and interprets existing or revised tax codes.
• Coordinates with external advisors and team members.
• Performs tax reconciliations and determines liability.
• Files non-income tax returns as required.
• Supports M&A integration activities.
• Participates in process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Business or Accounting degree; CPA preferred.
• 4-5 years of experience in a tax-related function.
• Experience with multiple tax types is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax regulations.
• Experience with SharePoint and PowerBI preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
