Senior Tax Analyst - Remote

Overview

Genesys is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Tax Analyst to join our growing Global Tax Team, assisting with various areas of income tax including compliance, research & planning, and tax accounting.

In Short

• Prepare quarterly and annual global income tax provision.
• Support global income tax compliance and prepare federal, state, and international tax returns.
• Calculate and file quarterly income tax estimates and year-end extensions.
• Collaborate with finance, accounting, and treasury teams.
• Provide tax technical support on U.S. international tax concepts.
• Prepare various tax forms and disclosures.
• Assist in tax planning projects and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
• Keep abreast of tax law changes and perform technical research.
• Learn how Genesys tax is leveraging AI tools.
• Maintain the global tax filing calendar.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar field.
• Master’s Degree in Taxation preferred.
• CPA certification (or actively pursuing).
• 4 - 10 years of tax-related work experience.
• Experience with international tax compliance and ASC 740.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with OneSource Income Tax and Workday ERP is a plus.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
