Risk & Safety Consultant - Construction - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced full-time Risk & Safety Consultant to join our team. This person will be responsible for providing consultations to specialty construction and infrastructure clients mainly in the Southeast and Midwest United States, but this role may also travel throughout the United States or internationally.

In Short

• Provide strategic safety leadership and assist with implementing best practices.
• Travel required: 60-75% of the time.
• Work from home when not traveling.
• Prefer candidates living near Birmingham, AL or Houston, TX.
• Conduct safety audits and assessments.
• Develop and implement safety training programs.
• Work with governmental safety agency inspections.
• Analyze client claims experience and accident data.
• Assist clients in writing and developing effective Safety Programs.
• Build and maintain client relationships.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Environmental, Health & Safety role.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field.
• Professional certification (CSP, CIH) preferred.
• Expert knowledge of OSHA codes and safety management principles.
• Ability to travel 60-75% of the time.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and data analysis.
• Sound work ethic with the ability to work independently.
• Bilingual in Spanish & English is a plus.
