In Short

• Responsible for the creation and management of the South African accounting team.
• Work with 3rd party accounting firms to close the books and complete statutory requirements.
• Supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close process.
• Partner with the US Corporate Controller/FP&A team for financial analysis.
• Develop and implement effective systems and financial controls.
• Ensure timely development and delivery of cash projections.

Requirements

• 5-10+ years of experience in financial reporting and management.
• Advanced Degree in Accounting, CPA/ACCA required.
• Audit experience within a public accounting firm.
• Advanced Microsoft Office Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Eligibility to work in South Africa.
• Experience in Global Accounting and Mergers & Acquisitions is a plus.
