Echo Base seeks to leverage operational and technical synergies across its portfolio companies to drive innovation.

In Short

• Seeking an experienced Controller with deep experience in Web3 accounting.
• Responsible for all portfolio companies’ accounting including cross-border tax, audit, and crypto financial reporting.
• Review company books for accuracy and GAAP reporting standards.
• Manage and review crypto wallet reconciliations.
• Develop and implement financial strategies and policies.
• Provide financial analysis and insights for decision-making.
• Manage cash flow, investments, and company liquidity.
• Monitor financial performance and suggest improvements.
• Build relationships with external partners.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.

Requirements

• Deep crypto accounting experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field (CPA is a plus).
• At least 12 years of experience in a senior accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of US auditing standards and tax code.
• Experience with small to medium-sized businesses.
• Experience managing a small global team.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Great communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
