Waste Profile Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Waste Profile Specialist is responsible for managing Waste Approvals into TSDFs by reviewing related information to ensure compliance with regulatory and facility permit requirements.

In Short

• Manage Waste Approvals into TSDFs.
• Review Material Profiles for accuracy and completeness.
• Provide regulatory review of EPA, DOT, and State designations.
• Respond to inquiries from Sales and Customer Service.
• Ensure compliance with turnaround time agreements.
• Limit liability by decreasing third-party outlets.
• Approve or reject materials for TSDFs.
• Add handling requirements to operational notes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• May require limited travel within the States.

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, or relevant field.
• 3+ years of experience in hazardous waste industry.
• General knowledge of EPA, DOT, and OSHA compliance.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
