We are currently seeking a talented Senior Transmission Planning Engineer, with expertise in transmission system analysis, grid modeling, and power system optimization.

In Short

• Lead efforts to help project developers conduct injection studies in compliance with NERC and regional reliability standards.
• Provide technical insights into generation interconnection studies and transmission congestion analysis.
• Work alongside power market experts to provide solutions across the electricity industry.
• Deploy production-grade code.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, power systems, computer science, or related field; Master’s/PhD preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in transmission planning or related areas.
• Proficiency in power system modeling tools (e.g., PSS/E, PowerWorld).
• Deep understanding of load flow analysis and transient stability studies.
• Familiarity with economic modeling of power markets.
• Knowledge of NERC reliability standards and generation interconnection processes.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and analysis.
• Success in delivering scalable, high-performance software is a plus.
