Senior Transmission Line Engineer - Remote

Overview

Asplundh Engineering Services is seeking an experienced Transmission Line Engineer to develop models and coordinate projects in the Southeast.

In Short

• Develop PLS-Cadd and PLS-Pole models for transmission line designs.
• Conduct site visits for line inventory and construction coordination.
• Generate project estimates, material orders, and construction specifications.
• Coordinate with various engineering and construction representatives.
• Meet with clients to build and maintain relationships.
• Perform quality control on work done by others.
• Assist in proposal preparation including cost estimates.
• Contribute to other Power Delivery groups.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a car.
• Pass a Criminal History Records Check and drug screen.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Competency in PLS software.
• Excellent communication skills and commitment to safety.
• 3+ years of experience in Transmission Line Design preferred.
• Proficiency in office software and drafting software is a plus.
• Professional Engineering license or E.I.T. preferred.
• Strong PLS-CADD experience required.
