Lead Transmission Line Engineer - Remote

Overview

Arcadis is currently seeking a highly motivated Lead Transmission Line Engineer to join the Power Delivery & Renewable team. This is a senior Lead Technical position within the Power Delivery & Renewable unit of Arcadis.

In Short

• Support, develop, and deliver HV and EHV transmission line projects from 69kV up to 500kV.
• Independently perform engineering and detail design drawings, studies and analysis.
• Identify, evaluate, and support work with project planning, environmental, permitting, and construction management.
• Coordinate closely with various engineering teams to develop complete design packages.
• Act as Project Manager, Proposal Manager, Program Manager, and Technical Lead.
• Serve as a mentor to junior team members and conduct quality assurance/quality control.
• Participate in meetings with clients, contractors, and vendors.
• May involve travel of up to 30% to client sites and customer meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Transmission line projects.
• Proficient with PLS-CADD software.
• Ability to engineer and design HV and EHV transmission foundations.
• Design experience adhering to various electrical codes and standards.
