Overview

The Human Resource Operations Manager plays a critical role in building and sustaining the operational backbone of EEI’s HR function, ensuring payroll, HR systems, workforce data, compensation, and benefits operations run accurately, compliantly, and efficiently.

In Short

  • Lead daily HR operations and ensure compliance across multiple states
  • Own end-to-end payroll processing and payroll-related reporting
  • Manage HR systems (HRIS), data integrity, and reporting
  • Oversee benefits setup, enrollments, and reconciliations
  • Support compensation processes, merit cycles, and workforce reporting
  • Maintain HR policies, documentation, and audit readiness
  • Lead and develop the HR Operations team
  • Partner closely with Finance, IT, and the broader HR team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 6+ years of HR operations experience, including payroll and HRIS ownership
  • 2+ years of people leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of payroll, benefits, and compliance
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and communication skills
  • HR certifications (SHRM, PHR, etc.) preferred
