As the Energy Efficiency Trade Ally Manager, you will have a broad impact on energy efficiency markets and greenhouse gas reductions through our work for North American Program Administrators and other national leaders in energy efficiency.

In Short

  • Support development and maintenance of relationships with HVAC, water heating, and heat pump manufacturers.
  • Travel to trade ally locations to drive energy efficiency program performance.
  • Serve as a resource between program leads and the Outreach and Trade Ally Team.
  • Track and report market activity to predict trends.
  • Contribute to outreach plans for new and existing programs.
  • Analyze program participation statistics and market data.
  • Develop best practice documentation for trade ally relationships.
  • Support distributors and contractors with program training.
  • Provide program support to market actors.
  • Participate in program meetings and planning sessions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
  • Willingness to conduct local business travel (30-40%).
  • Experience with Energy Efficiency preferred.
  • Ability to build relationships with market actors and trade allies.
  • Familiarity with HVAC and water heating preferred.
  • Experience in sales or at HVAC contractors preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and Salesforce preferred.
