Overview

Enabled Energy (EE) is seeking a Technical Design Specialist, as part of our Professional Services Team. The Technical Design Specialist plays a critical role in transforming complex electrical and mechanical system information into clear, accurate, and actionable technical documentation. This role blends hands‑on field verification, advanced drafting and modeling, and participation in strategic engineering initiatives to support EE’s mission of elevating data center performance, efficiency, and reliability.

In Short

• Support development of infrastructure roadmaps by producing comprehensive technical documentation and CAD drawings.
• Provide drafting and design support for data center retrofit and improvement projects.
• Create and maintain organized CAD libraries and project file systems.
• Perform field data collection including measurements and photographic documentation.
• Build CFD models and conduct thermal simulations for data center environments.
• Contribute to process optimization by developing CAD standards and automated drafting processes.
• Provide drafting, documentation, and technical support to interdisciplinary project teams.
• Flexibly allocate time across multiple active projects based on priority.
• Support project planning efforts by contributing to budgeting and timeline development.
• Research and implement emerging tools and technologies for drafting.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
• Experience with CFD software preferred.
• Ability to translate engineering concepts into clear visual and written materials.
• Strong organizational skills for maintaining structured project files.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy.
