Overview

The Revenue Specialist, Commercial Billing investigates and analyzes Motor Vehicle Accident accounts to identify and coordinate insurance benefits, ensuring outstanding balances are resolved for clients. This role requires maintaining confidentiality and security of patient health information.

In Short

• Conduct online medical research for Motor Vehicle Accident claims.
• Review and acquire medical records and supporting documentation.
• Resolve payment issues by contacting payers and escalating as needed.
• Submit corrected claims and file appeals for denied claims.
• Communicate with various parties regarding claim status.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience in healthcare billing or collections.
• Client-facing/customer service experience required.
• Experience with Health Insurance claim resolution.
• Strong computer proficiency, especially with MS Office.
• Understanding of insurance claims processing.
• Basic understanding of MVA legal requirements.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
