Overview

Empower is looking for a talented analyst to join our high growth fintech startup and help develop and optimize our flagship cash advance product.

In Short

• Optimize Empower's cash advance product by refining credit policies and valuations frameworks.
• Design and conduct broad tests to improve future business outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Product and Marketing, Operations and External Vendors, and Data Infrastructure.
• Drive the development of new product features and enhancements.
• Develop automated systems to monitor and report on business performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
• 3+ years of industry experience in data analytics and credit risk management.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Proven ability to design tests and build credit policies.
• Adaptable and eager to learn new tools and analytical methods.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• A structured approach to problem-solving.
• (Preferred) Experience in credit analytics at a bank or fintech company.
