In Short

• Build Empower’s Loss Mitigation Toolkit for the Credit Card business.
• Identify and close gaps in Empower’s loss mitigation toolkit.
• Launch and manage partnerships with Debt Settlement Companies.
• Manage and optimize Empower’s relationship with third-party Collections vendors.
• Own the strategy and roadmap for delinquent customers.
• Collaborate effectively across the business with various teams.
• 4+ years industry experience in data analytics and credit risk management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Product and Engineering.
• Comfortable owning complex, ambiguous workstreams.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in engineering, business, finance, computer science or mathematics.
• Experience designing tests and building credit policies.
• Ability to independently run analyses in Python (SQL ok replacement).
• Strong customer empathy and a passion for helping underserved populations.
• (Preferred) At least two years at a bank or FinTech working in credit analytics.
