Overview

The U-Haul External Communications team is offering a paid in-person internship for the summer semester, focusing on Public Relations and Communications.

In Short

• Work with U-Haul PR and Community Relations staff.
• Write and circulate press releases for U-Haul neighborhood dealers.
• Assist with media outreach and write blogs for myuhaulstory.com.
• Participate in on- and off-site volunteer opportunities.

• Gain operational knowledge of U-Haul.
• Flexible schedules based on classes (20-30 hours/week).

Requirements

• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Diligent fact-checking abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Familiarity with AP stylebook is helpful.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Must be a rising or current college junior/senior or pursuing a Master’s degree.
• Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
