Overview

Join a dynamic team responsible for developing high value industrial automation products within the Emerson Automation Solutions business. As a Software Developer, you will be involved in the R&D of IO.CONNECT Software systems that connect plant-floor devices to the Emerson Delta V system.

In Short

• Collaborate with product owner and team for new interfaces.
• Provide estimates of software development time.
• Build high-quality software meeting design criteria.
• Participate in Code Reviews.
• Conduct unit and integration testing.
• Debug and validate software issues.
• Write automated unit and acceptance tests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with Linux (Ubuntu) and Windows application development in C, C++.
• Understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Proficient in code organization and readability.
• Experience working on projects from scratch.
• Experience in embedded development and device drivers.
• Experience in socket programming.
• Experience in multithreading in C and C++.
