This Senior Site Reliability Engineer / API Platform Engineer role bridges software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and operational excellence, requiring a pragmatic, highly productive individual who can use modern AI tools and automation to accelerate delivery and improve reliability.

In Short

• Design, build, and operate reliable, scalable infrastructure for APIs and AI-enabled applications on AWS and Kubernetes.
• Own and enhance CI/CD pipelines and operational tooling for fast software delivery.
• Build and maintain observability systems across metrics, logging, and service health.
• Lead incident response and remediation efforts to improve production reliability.
• Automate operational work through software and infrastructure-as-code.
• Use AI-native engineering tools to enhance productivity and response time.
• Partner with engineering teams to ensure services meet reliability and security standards.
• Optimize infrastructure performance across latency and cost.
• Define engineering standards for reliability and operational excellence.
• Contribute production-grade software to reduce toil across the organization.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Site Reliability Engineering or related fields.
• Solid experience writing production-grade software.
• Deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, particularly on AWS.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes-based services.
• Strong experience operating APIs and microservices.
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and incident management.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation tooling.
• Experience using AI tools to enhance engineering workflows.
• Strong judgment and ownership in problem-solving.
