Senior Product Designer - Remote

Overview

We need a strong product designer to drive end-to-end UX/UI for the ELSA mobile app, working tightly with a Product team in India and Design leadership in New York.

In Short

• Own design for key product areas like onboarding, lesson flows, and retention loops.
• Turn fuzzy problems into shippable solutions: user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, final UI, specs.
• Partner daily with PM + Engineering to define scope and tradeoffs.
• Run lightweight discovery and validation tests to iterate based on evidence.
• Maintain and extend the design system.
• Ensure clean handoff: redlines/specs and QA.
• Communicate clearly in async: Looms, concise docs, decisions + rationale.

Requirements

• 3–7 years product design experience (consumer mobile preferred).
• Strong interaction design + visual polish.
• Solid product thinking: metrics, tradeoffs, experimentation mindset.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and speed.
• Strong Figma skills.
• Excellent written communication and async collaboration habits.
• Experience working cross-timezone with engineers.
