Payroll Analyst - Remote

Overview

Our client is seeking a Payroll Analyst to support payroll processing, expense management, and payroll compliance. This position will assist in processing payroll for our client, manage the payroll for a smaller USL OPCO entity, and ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. The Payroll Analyst will also assist with payroll deductions, resolve discrepancies, and handle year-end activities such as W-2 preparation.

In Short

• Process employee expenses in Paycom.
• Assist in managing payroll processes.
• Help with the administration of ADP Pay Cards for employees.
• Lead payroll processing for the USL OPCO entity, which includes fewer than 40 units.
• Calculate and process payroll deductions, including taxes, benefits, and garnishments.
• Ensure that payroll operations comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and prepare necessary reports.
• Assist in year-end activities such as W-2 preparation and distribution.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and address employee payroll queries.
• Process direct deposits and manual payroll checks as needed.
• Work closely with the HR department for new hires, terminations, and salary adjustments.

Requirements

• Experience in payroll processing and compliance.
• Familiarity with payroll software, preferably Paycom.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills for employee interactions.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Experience with year-end payroll processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
