Healthcare Data Entry Coordinator - Remote

Overview

The Index-Intake Coordinator is responsible for pre-opening and preparing electronic medical case files for Healthcare Professionals (HCP) to complete. The indexing portion is comprised of scanning, indexing, categorizing, and uploading medical records and files to the corresponding Utilization Review or Medical Case Management case.

In Short

• Full-time remote position, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM PST
• Scanning, uploading, and labeling case documents
• Sorting hard copy and soft copy medical files
• Processing referrals with deadlines
• Heavy data entry tasks
• Answering incoming calls professionally
• Interacting with medical professionals
• Processing Utilization Review referral forms
• In-take and data entry of UR referrals
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Graduate or G.E.D. equivalent
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Computer literate with MS Word, MS Excel, Email, and Internet
• Basic medical terminology knowledge
