Senior Solutions Engineer - Architecture, Engineering and Construction Industry - Remote

Overview

The Senior Solutions Engineer is a creative thinker that acts as the 'Liaison' between Sales, Product, Marketing and our Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) customers by identifying and removing any potential roadblocks early in the sales process while creating detailed specifications agreed upon by both Egnyte and the client.

In Short

• Understand our customers’ businesses and challenge their ideas of the status quo
• Be the technical lead in customer engagements in partnership with the sales team
• Proactively identify and address customer's technical needs and objections
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and solution proposals
• Maintain high level knowledge of competitors' products
• Maintain deep knowledge of all Egnyte products/services
• Perform technical benefits assessment for customers
• Lead RFI, RFP and Security Questionnaire response completions
• Travel to customer sites and conferences, if needed

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with AEC industry-specific solutions
• Strong understanding of the AEC industry and collaboration solutions
• Curiosity about technology and passion to learn
• Ability to work with all levels of customer roles
• Broad knowledge of SaaS platforms
• Strong people orientation and customer satisfaction focus
• Collaborative team player
• Strong presentation skills
• Ability to assess critical situations and execute actions
• Experience with process-centric solution selling
