Senior DevOps Architect - Remote

Overview

As a DevOps Architect at Effectual, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing our DevOps practices. You will architect and secure Kubernetes clusters and its ecosystem. You will understand both DevOps and security principles to integrate them. You will report to the Application Modernization Professional Services Director.

• Design and implement secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead the integration of security practices into DevOps processes.
• Implement automation scripts for infrastructure provisioning.

• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams.
• Provide training and mentorship on DevOps best practices.
• Evaluate and implement DevSecOps tools.
• Maintain infrastructure as code templates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years experience in DevOps, security, and cloud environments.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipeline design (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Shell, PowerShell).
• In-depth knowledge of containerization and orchestration platforms.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
