Principal Software Engineer - Front End - Remote

Overview

An Effectual Principal Software Engineer designs, develops, and deploys cloud-based applications for our clients. You will collaborate with teams, including architects and project managers, to ensure the delivery of high-quality cloud solutions.

• Provide technical support and innovative cloud solutions in alignment with business objectives.
• Design new software solutions for critical business needs.
• Evaluate, test, design, develop, and integrate new cloud technologies.
• Serve as a technical lead on important projects.
• Lead large feature releases that cross team boundaries.
• Design, implement, and maintain cloud solutions and infrastructures.
• Support and maintain existing software functionality.
• Engage with Effectual and client leadership to align approach with their needs.
• Work alongside individual contributors to deliver software solutions.
• Review technical design documentation and participate in technical reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, IS, or related field.
• 7-10+ years of experience in Software Engineering.
• AWS Certifications Required/Preferred.
• Software engineering and architectural skills.
• Deep understanding of multiple programming languages.
• Responsive Design expertise.
• Kubernetes administration skills.
• Excellent understanding of information security best practices.
• Ability to sell the value of investing in nonfunctional requirements.
• Conflict management skills.
