Portfolio Accounting Specialist - Remote

Overview

As a Portfolio Specialist on the Portfolio Accounting team, you’ll play a major role in ensuring the completeness of client financial data stored within various account tracking systems. This role supports financial planning teams and internal departments by fielding inquiries, conducting account research, creating training materials, and generating data sets.

In Short

• Ensure the integrity of financial data through ongoing account reconciliation and database maintenance.
• Maintain the continuity of data aggregated through custodial relationships and third-party providers.
• Facilitate the incorporation of account data across coordinated platforms.
• Research cost basis, performance returns, security pricing, and account valuation.
• Provide reporting solutions to help financial planners analyze their client account information.
• Partner closely with Portfolio Accounting team members on research, analysis and development of methods, procedures, and efficiency standards.
• Build ad-hoc data sets for internal and external partners.

Requirements

• Must have high level of computer proficiency and become comfortable with mathematical comprehension.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.
• Position requires high level of responsibility regarding confidential information.
• Understanding of tax reporting and performance calculations/reporting a plus.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel. Experience using SQL a plus.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business, or equivalent confirmed experience required.
• Experience working in a Portfolio Accounting department a plus.

• Expected base salary range for this role nationally is $46,200 - $61,600.
