Kiosk Cash Accountant - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Kiosk Cash Accountant to join our Accounting team. This newly created role is critical to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of daily cash reconciliations across our end-to-end kiosk (ATM) cash processes.

In Short

• Own and execute daily cash reconciliations for kiosk transactions using Blackline.
• Monitor and reconcile variances between system-reported kiosk cash activity and actual bank and third-party partner data.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly, escalating unresolved issues as necessary.
• Work cross-functionally with Operations, Treasury, and third-party cash logistics partners to ensure seamless cash flow and resolution of cash discrepancies.
• Maintain and improve internal controls over cash handling and reconciliation processes.
• Assist in monthly close processes related to cash and prepare journal entries as needed.
• Participate in the implementation and continuous improvement of cash reconciliation workflows.
• Provide reporting and analysis on cash trends, variances, and exceptions.
• Support audits and internal reviews by providing clear documentation and reconciliation support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in cash accounting or reconciliation roles.
• Experience with Blackline reconciliation software is strongly preferred.
• Background in managing high-volume cash transactions is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with ATM operations, kiosk environments, or retail cash handling is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or similar).
