Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Senior Accountant role is responsible for a broad range of monthly accounting activities and financial analysis, with an emphasis on supporting the month-end close process and balance sheet reconciliations.

In Short

• Record journal entries for assigned accounts.
• Prepare, reconcile, and analyze balance sheet accounts.
• Support month-end close for international entities.
• Conduct technical GAAP analysis of new initiatives.
• Assist with audit requests and documentation.
• Support financial and bank compliance reporting.
• Perform analytical reviews of compensation and benefits expenses.
• Collaborate with HR on payroll and benefits accounting.
• Support software and project initiatives.
• Build and present ad-hoc reports for management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience required.
• CPA preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of US GAAP.
• Experience with Oracle ERP preferred.
• Strong accounting and reconciliation skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel.
