Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the accurate and efficient preparation of financial statements and working papers using Active Ledger, as well as the processing of BAS, IAS, and annual tax returns for various types of entities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or related field
• At least 5 years of experience with the Australian Tax System
• Exposure to Australian public practice
• Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, and Active Ledger (preferred but not necessary)
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel
• High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
• Can take ownership of own workflow
• Strong written and spoken English communication
• Strong initiative and confidence to problem-solve
