Overview

The Seasonal Customer Care Specialist is responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting customers with inquiries, and optimizing sales during the holiday season.

In Short

  • Fully remote seasonal position from September to December.
  • Scheduled for 40 hours/week with potential overtime.
  • Answer incoming customer inquiries via telephone.
  • Initiate and close sales, converting on-hold orders.
  • Resolve customer order issues and provide product recommendations.
  • Inform customers about promotions and special sales.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with customers.
  • Handle calls and distribute them to appropriate departments.
  • Complete ad hoc duties as assigned.
  • Represent the company professionally and politely.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of call center or contact center experience.
  • 1 year of ecommerce sales experience.
  • Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute with 95% accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with MS Office and internet browsers.
  • Knowledge of internet etiquette and customer service principles.
  • Patience and empathy in customer interactions.
  • Willingness to resolve customer issues.
  • Knowledge of selling technical products is a plus.
