Accounts Payable Specialist - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team. This is a temporary role with an anticipated end date of March 31, 2026. This role will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, processing invoices, and ensuring timely and accurate payment processing while maintaining proper documentation and compliance with company policies and procedures.

In Short

• Process 3-way P.O. matching invoices.
• Ensure accurate processing of non-purchase order transactions.
• Execute domestic and international payment processing.
• Perform comprehensive vendor statement reconciliations.
• Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval.
• Monitor and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
• Complete monthly credit card and bank account reconciliations.
• Administer corporate expense management systems.
• Audit and process credit card bills.
• Communicate effectively with vendors and internal customers.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in AP.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., D365, Business Central).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Demonstrated expertise in automated payment processing systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
