Accounts Payable Specialist - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an Accounts Payable specialist to support our rapidly expanding company. This role will require immaculate attention to detail as well as strong communication skills. The ideal candidate is a reliable team player who will assist in all aspects of accounts payable.

In Short

• Manage AP inboxes for multiple entities; field bills, input into the accounting system, and field questions/inquiries from vendors and employees
• As part of the monthly financial close, ensure completeness of bill inputs; propose accruals for any bills not yet received
• Reconcile vendor balances, when necessary
• Work with all departments to meet reporting needs
• Communicate with vendors as appropriate
• Ensure compliance with policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time
• Provide support during external audits
• Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
