Accounts Payable Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Accounts Payable Specialist will provide accounting, financial, and administrative services, ensuring efficient and accurate reporting of accounts payable and supporting the finance team.

In Short

• Process vendor invoices and payments.
• Perform account reconciliations and month-end closing activities.
• Maintain vendor files and records.
• Assist with annual audits and 1099 filings.
• Develop and maintain accounting procedures.
• Communicate effectively with vendors.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies.
• Act as a backup for accounts receivable.
• Support finance-related projects as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance preferred.
• 1-3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and advanced Excel skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a cross-cultural environment.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
