Remote Software Engineer (PHP, TypeScript, Rust)

Overview

easybill is a cloud-based invoicing software that has been successfully on the market for over 18 years, with more than 21,000 active customers. We are looking for motivated reinforcement for our team, working in a Remote-First environment.

In Short

• Develop new features and scaling solutions as part of a motivated software development team.
• Work independently with high responsibility and ownership.
• Main application developed in PHP/TypeScript, with additional development in Kotlin and Rust.
• Use of MySQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, Docker, and more.
• Backend development with PHP and Symfony, and frontend development with TypeScript and React.
• Migration of PHP code to Rust and data migrations.
• Debugging and error analysis.
• Fluent in German and good English skills required.
• Work in a flexible, trust-based work environment.
• Participate in team events and workation opportunities.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge in software development, especially in PHP and TypeScript.
• Experience with Rust, Java, and distributed systems is a bonus.
• Open-source contributions or public experiments are a plus.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to our technology stack.
• Strong motivation and self-organization skills.
