In Short

• Conduct cost analyses and estimations for components and assemblies considering materials, production processes, and supply chains.
• Develop and implement cost optimization strategies in close collaboration with technical purchasing and production.
• Monitor cost efficiency of ongoing projects and create regular reports for management.
• Analyze market trends and price developments to support informed, data-driven purchasing decisions.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary projects to improve purchasing efficiency and promote innovation and reliability within the company.

Requirements

• You have a completed technical or business degree (Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering) or an alternative qualification.
• You possess in-depth knowledge of various manufacturing technologies (e.g., casting, injection molding, bending, laser cutting, welding, or milling & turning).
• You have good expertise in professional feasibility analyses and cost estimations.
• You have experience with ERP systems and common calculation tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, costing software).
• Fluent in German and English.
