Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Controls Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes within our organization, ensuring that all products meet the required standards of quality and safety. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

In Short

  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and tests on products and processes to identify defects or areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to analyze product designs and specifications for manufacturability.
  • Utilize debugging techniques to troubleshoot issues related to product quality.
  • Oversee project scheduling to ensure timely completion of quality assessments and reporting.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on quality control practices and standards.
  • Maintain documentation of quality control activities, including test results, inspection reports, and corrective actions taken.
  • Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure materials meet quality specifications.

Requirements

  • Proficient in PLC Programming
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of electrical components.
  • Familiarity with System on Chip (SoC) design principles and Printed Circuit Board (PCB) fabrication processes.
  • Experience in debugging hardware and software issues related to product quality.
  • Knowledge of Perl scripting for automation of testing processes is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Simulink for modeling and simulation tasks is desirable.
  • Excellent project scheduling skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
