Staff Site Reliability Engineer - Remote

In Short

• Ensure the reliability, scalability, performance, and security of systems.
• Manage and optimize infrastructure for efficiency and minimal downtime.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance observability and CI/CD tools.
• Lead product initiatives and conduct resiliency reviews.
• Advise on reliability and mentor engineers on best practices.
• Stay current with industry trends and formalize best practices.
• Collaborate with teams and manage goals, risks, and resources.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and telemetry tools.
• Expertise in containerization and orchestration.
• Willingness to travel to the Oakland office monthly.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in reliability and enterprise system architecture.
• Strong coding skills in at least one language (Go, Python, Java Spring Boot, .NET).
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and telemetry tools.
• Expertise in containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience creating infrastructure resources using Terraform.
• Formal training or certification in software engineering.
• 5+ years of applied experience in relevant fields.
• Willingness to travel to the Oakland office monthly.
