Accounting and Payroll Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Payroll and Accounting Specialist is responsible for administering payroll, maintaining the general ledger and balance sheet, and managing sales tax compliance, while providing guidance on Accounts Payable and preparing financial statements.

• Perform general bookkeeping and reconcile financial records.
• Manage the company’s general ledger and balance sheet.
• Ensure compliance with sales tax regulations.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Accounting (Bachelor’s preferred).
• 1-3 years of accounting experience, including payroll processing.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
• Ability to manage time-sensitive deadlines.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
