Director of Strategic Sourcing - Remote

Overview

The Director of Strategic Sourcing will lead DaVita’s procurement team in transforming the procurement and supply chain processes to enhance efficiency and value for patients and partners.

In Short

• Lead a newly formed Indirect Procurement organization.
• Manage several categories including Consulting, Facilities, and IT.
• Drive category management and supplier relationship management.
• Collaborate with corporate leaders to align with business objectives.
• Develop new procurement strategies and scorecards.
• Engage and identify diverse suppliers.
• Support and influence procurement activities across business lanes.
• Conduct contract negotiations for critical programs.
• Ensure compliance with DaVita's core values and policies.
• Travel required up to 20%.

Requirements

• 8+ years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience.
• 3+ years of people management experience.
• Experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Master’s degree or similar certification preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing priorities.
• Track record of leading initiatives at scale.
• Alignment with DaVita's core values.
• Proven ability to develop and deploy new initiatives.
• Experience in procurement organization growth preferred.
