Overview

The Clinical Pharmacy Management team is seeking an Authorization Lead to provide operational support and leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational goals while fostering collaboration.

• Work remotely from a home office, preferably in the Pacific or Mountain timezones.
• Lead the formulary exception team and drive team performance.
• Facilitate effective communication and mentor teammates.
• Conduct real-time coaching conversations and respond to team inquiries.
• Perform reviews of formulary exception medication requests.
• Monitor team inquiries and ensure timely follow-up actions.
• Lead quality review sessions and trainings.
• Maintain documentation of review processes and guidelines.
• Uphold quality assurance processes for team compliance.
• Assist with special projects as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of Pharmacy Benefit Management experience.
• Associate degree in Pharmacy, Business, or related field; Bachelor's preferred.
• Current Registered Pharmacy Technician Certification.
• Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• High attention to detail and superior communication skills.
• Ability to travel 20% as needed.
