Overview

As a Marketing Budget & Ops Associate at Duolingo, you will play a critical role in maintaining the 2026 Marketing budget, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting collaboration between Marketing, Finance, and Accounting.

In Short

• Part-time contract role (up to 20 hours/week)
• Manage the 2026 Marketing budget sheet
• Serve as a liaison between Marketing and Finance
• Collect and consolidate variance explanations
• Track budget transfers and changes
• Support quarterly true-ups and reforecasts
• Answer budget management questions from Marketing
• Support the Office of the CMO on special projects
• Requires availability during U.S. Eastern Time hours

Requirements

• 2–4+ years of experience in marketing operations or related fields
• Strong proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel
• Understanding of accrual-based planning
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented working style with accurate documentation
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
