Software Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Software Engineer at DTCC, you will work on innovative projects, collaborate with a dynamic team, and contribute to the development of software solutions that impact the financial markets.

In Short

• Participate in requirements gathering and design for system stability and expandability.
• Follow standard processes on code development, including automated unit testing.
• Collaborate with testing teams to ensure defect remediation before launch.
• Provide ongoing maintenance support during the post-deployment phase.
• Identify and implement efficiencies and improvements to standard processes.
• Mitigate risk by following established procedures and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.
• Be a self-starter providing creative and innovative ideas.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of related experience.
• Expert in back-end and front-end application development.
• Hands-on experience in Java/J2EE, Spring (Boot), Angular 6+, and more.
• Experience with tools like GIT, Bit Bucket, Jira, Maven, Jenkins.
• Proven track record with application servers like WebSphere, Tomcat, JBoss.
• In-depth knowledge of relational databases including DB2 and Oracle.
• Proficiency in the system development life cycle.
• Solid focus on software testing with JUnit, Mockito, Jasmine, Karma.
• Experience with CI/CD tools.
