Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - Remote

Overview

As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at DTCC, you will be responsible for providing technical support for GTR and TIW applications, ensuring operational supportability and resiliency.

In Short

• Join project planning and design sessions.
• Present operational readiness at project management meetings.
• Identify strategic solutions for risk incidents.
• Demonstrate operational improvements through KPIs.
• Ensure non-functional requirements are defined and prioritized.
• Review controls and alerting for new deliveries.
• Test non-functional requirements in UAT environments.
• Drive resiliency testing scenarios.
• Evaluate application behavior during hardware failures.
• Make design recommendations for improved application recovery.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of SRE Principles/Practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience in SQL/PLSQL, Unix, Linux, Windows.
• Working experience in Shell Scripting, Python, Perl, JavaScript.
• Knowledge of AutoSys, ServiceNow, JIRA.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace.
• Knowledge of AWS functionalities and services.
• Leadership experience is a plus.
